Completing Instance Quests While Leveling



    Instance quests are an important part of instance leveling on World of Warcraft, and it is entirely too easy to forget about them.  Just about all of the instances in the game of WoW will have quests that can be completed inside of them, so why not double your effort and get several things done while you’re soaking up all that experience from instance leveling?

Grabbing Up the Instance Quests
    One of the most effective ways to use your time while instance leveling on WoW is to queue for random instances while you are traveling from play to place to collect your instance quests.  DPS classes will be able to gather up a lot of the instances quests this way and still get to enjoy all the benefits of instance leveling, although healers and tanks may need to set aside some time to travel around and pick up the quests.

    With the exception of a few instances that only have quests that for either Horde or Alliance, there are generally quests for the instances you end up in.  The best way to go about collecting your instance quests is to figure out which instances you are likely to pull first through the dungeon finder, and then head off in the direction of the entrances to those instances.  In most cases, you will find the quest givers for the instance quests in the cities that are nearby the instance.  However, in some cases you will need to complete some prerequisite quests before you will be eligible to pick up the instance quests.  This is why having a good instance leveling guide like Dugi’s Dungeon Leveling Guide is really a great idea.

Share and Share Alike
    If you land in an instance before you had time to go pick up the quests for it, you can always ask your other party members to share the quests with you.  In general many of the instance quests are shareable, except for the ones that have prerequisite quests you have not completed yet.  Many players will automatically share their quests for the instance you are in, and others will share the quests if you only ask.  By the same token, make sure that you share your quests for the instance with your party members.  This is a common courtesy that will make the entire instance leveling experience even better for everyone.

Instance Quests: Content that’s Almost Brand New
    Many World of Warcraft players who’ve been playing for years have never experienced the loer level dungeons, which means instance leveling has opened up a whole new area of content for them.  That being said, they probably have not completed the instance quests, either.  This means that leveling a character is now like playing entirely new content instead of repeating the same old quests over and over again.
    Even players who have not been playing WoW for a long time will appreciate the many benefits from instance quests, which include better gear and more experience than solo quests.

Aliance: How to make gold at low levels for Mining & Herbalism



Leveling mining and herbalism are the two easiest ways of earning gold at low levels. Selling ore and herbs on the Auction House is a good way to get a nice amount of gold as you are leveling up. It is even quite useful to farm gold like this on higher levels. It is an advice that you download the Gatherer addon which will track all of your discovered ores and herbs so you don’t have to roam around trying to remember where a vein or a herb was on the map.

Where to find the trainers?
Mining trainers can be located:
    * Brock Stoneseeker (Loch Modan)
    * Dank Dizzlecut (Dun Morogh)
    * Dulvi (Azuremyst Isle)
    * Gelman Stonehand (Stormwind City)

Best areas to mine:
Best areas where you can mine Copper ore are Dun Morogh and Elwynn Forest.
For Tin ore you should scour the eastern parts of the Redridge Mountains and Loch Modan.
For Iron ore and Gold ore it is recommend to go to Alterac Mountains. Other places like Ashenvale, Desolace, Stranglethorn Vale, Arathi Highliands and Badlands are also nice.
For Mithril ore and Truesilver ore you should go to Highperch located in the Thousand Needles. Badlands is also a good location for Mithril ores. The best area there is Lethlor Ravine.
Best places for Thorium ore and Dark Iron ore are Searing Gorge and the Burning Steppes.

Best areas to find herbs:
Best areas to find Peacebloom, Silverleaf and Earthroot erbalism are Elwynn Forest and Teldrassil.
Continue to Westfall for more of the Peacebloom, Silverleaf and Earthroot and you will also find Mageroyal.
Redridge Mountains and Stonetalon Mountains are the best areas for Bruiseweed and also in the North part of Stonetalon you will be able to find Kingsblood and Wild Steelbloom.
Duskwood is also rich in these two.
Fadeleaf can be found in Arathi Highlands, Alterac Mountains and the Hinterlands.
The herb heaven, aka the Swamp of Sorrows, is home to Khadgar's Whiskers in example and a lot more different herbs.
Feralas is a nice area for Sungrass.

A Dungeon Strategy for Instance Leveling

With the release of the WoTLK in mid November 2008, a new class, The Death Knight, was introduced.
The Death Knights are WoW’s first Hero Class. What this ‘Hero Class’ exactly means is unknown because they have not proven to be very different then other classes except for the facts that you need to have a level 55 or higher level character to create a Death Knight, that the Death Knight will start as a level 55 upon being created and that the Death Knight uses Runic Power to be able to use his abilities.

Once you create a Death Knight you will enter the game as a level 55 character that is loyal to Arthas the Lich King. You will start fully equipped with green gear and 4, 12 slot bags and 20 silver in Acherus - The Ebon Hold which can be found in the Eastern Plaguelands. As you start questing near The Ebon Hold you will be rewarded talent points and blue item and once you reach level 57 or so you will have the regular amount of talent points for that level and full blue gear.

I will not take away the fun by explaining the quest chain but I can tell you that the quest chain is cool and rewarding. You can reach level 58 in just an hour or two by doing the quests around The Ebon Hold so even if you do not intend to play a Death Knight it is nice to at least pick up some cool lore. Once you hit 58 you are able to go to the Outlands though and you know that the leveling there isn’t time-consuming, so who knows; even if you didn’t plan to play a Death Knight, you might still get stuck playing one because it is a cool class.


A Death Knight is a melee class that can wear most of the melee weapons. One can equip two one-handed weapons or choose for one two-handed weapon. He can serve as a melee damage dealer or as a tank. A Death Knight however, cannot equip a Shield. They are able to wear plate armor and are able to get a very high parry chance.

The Death Knight is a melee fighter that uses Runic Power for his special abilities, like said before. He has 6 runes that he can use by using certain abilities. These runes have a cooldown but do give the Death Knight some Runic Power. This Runic Power can then be used to use other special abilities that only cost Runic Power and do not place a rune on cooldown.

One of the first quests you will come across is called “The Emblazoned Runeblade”. This quest will give you the ability called Runeforging. This ability can be used to forge a rune on the DK’s weapons.
The Death Knight has three talent trees like any other class namely Blood, Frost and Unholy. Each tree gives advantages and it’s up to the player’s preference which talent tree, or combination of talent trees he would like to use.

The advantages of a Death Knight are that he starts at level 55, is very easy to level and can continue fighting for longer periods of time, can both tank and dps, they can have a Ghoul and Gargoyle pet and that they look sort of cool. The disadvantage of playing a Death Knight is that almost everybody has decided to play a Death Knight, which makes it harder to find groups and raids etc.

A Dailies Guide for World of Warcraft

If you haven’t taken advantage of the daily quests on World of Warcraft, then you’re missing out on a lot of important bonuses, gear, and enchantments.  Many players believe that they should stop doing quests altogether the moment they reach level 80.  However, level 80 should be the time to really focus on doing daily quests to earn gold and reputation with various factions.  Of course you’ll always need gold to purchase crafted gear, gems, and enchanting materials so you can gear up to run Icecrown Citadel, and WoW dailies give you a steady source of income, which is perfect for those players who just don’t understand the auction house system very much.  Running WoW dailies can earn you an average of 300 gold for running all of your daily quests.  Each character can run 25 quests per day, and many of them pay an average of 13 gold per quest.

The Importance of Reputation
One thing that’s often overlooked on World of Warcraft is reputation.  It may seem like reputation just isn’t worth the time, but there are some factions that have rewards which make it very helpful to have an exalted status with them.  Reputation isn’t too important as you’re leveling, but when you reach level 80, you’re going to need to purchase special enchantments from certain factions.  Even enchanters will want to work on their reputation with these factions because the enchantments offered as rewards cannot be handed out by enchanters.


 One of the first reputations you should work on through your WoW dailies is the Sons of Hodir.  These daily quests are located in the Storm Peaks area, and you may even have completed some of them while you were leveling your character.  The Sons of Hodir offer enchantments for pretty much every class, in addition to special gem designs for jewel crafters, rare and epic mounts, and the tailoring pattern for the 22-slot glacial bag.  To purchase any of the rewards from the Sons of Hodir, just visit the quartermaster in the Storm Peaks area.


Planning Your Route
Since you’re able to do 25 daily quests per day, you might be wondering just how quickly you can get them done.  After all, you probably don’t want to spend all day playing World of Warcraft, no matter how much you enjoy the game.  However, you can actually get your WoW dailies done in two hours or less if you plan your route carefully.  You can’t waste any time traveling between daily quests, so you’ve got to do as many of them in one area at the same time as you possibly can.  It’s really not a bad idea to check out a WoW dailies guide like Dugi’s Dailies and Events Guide.  Getting started with a regular daily quest routine can be overwhelming, but a WoW dailies guide can really help you sort out your thoughts and figure out how to create a speed gold run.
